By accessing or using Grantemia, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of grantemia.fi and grantemia.vercel.app.
Grantemia is an AI-powered research funding intelligence platform. It provides AI-generated information about funding opportunities, deadlines, and research grants for informational purposes only. Grantemia does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. All funding information should be independently verified with the official funder before any application decision is made.
Grantemia uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini API) to generate funding search results, deadline information, intelligence updates and responses to user queries. In compliance with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), Article 50 transparency requirements, we disclose that: all content labelled as search results, intelligence updates or AI responses is generated by artificial intelligence; AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions or outdated information; Grantemia is classified as a minimal-risk AI system and does not make automated decisions about individuals; human oversight is always required — users must review and verify all AI-generated information independently.
Grantemia strives to provide accurate and useful funding intelligence. However, AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or current. Grantemia and its operators shall not be liable for any loss, damage or missed opportunity arising from reliance on AI-generated funding information. Always verify deadlines, amounts and eligibility directly with the funding organisation.
You agree to use Grantemia only for lawful purposes related to research funding discovery. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise misuse the service. You may not use Grantemia to generate misleading, fraudulent or harmful content. Automated or programmatic access to Grantemia without written permission is prohibited.
The Grantemia name, lighthouse logo, design and original content are the property of Grantemia and protected by applicable intellectual property law. AI-generated funding information returned by Grantemia is derived from publicly available sources and processed by Google Gemini — no intellectual property claim is made over such outputs.
Grantemia uses Google Gemini API for AI processing, Resend for email delivery and Vercel for hosting. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. Grantemia is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of these third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish and EU law, Grantemia and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated information. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland. Users in the European Union retain rights under applicable EU consumer and data protection law.
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of Grantemia after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

EU AI Act — Article 50 Transparency Notice
Grantemia complies with transparency obligations under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act). This platform uses AI to generate funding intelligence. All AI-generated content is disclosed as such. Grantemia is classified as a minimal-risk AI system — it does not perform biometric identification, social scoring, manipulation, or any prohibited or high-risk function as defined in Annex III of the EU AI Act.
